Welcome and Hello

Hello and welcome! As a mom to two children who consume a heck of a lot of video content, I became concerned when I realized that my kids were not critically consuming this media. As someone whose job was to create compelling content, I knew that there were lots of ‘tricks to the trade’ of sucking in an audience. I wanted to give my kids some tools so that they could still enjoy watching their content but keep at least one critical eye open. I started to ask myself “How can I teach students to think critically about social media posts and make informed decisions about what to believe and share?” And now with that...the journey begins.
